I’ve combined my passion for art and graphic design with decades of software experience (going as far back as 11 yrs old when my uncle taught me basic DOS on one of the very first home computers, the Commodore 64). In my 20s, I worked in the airline and travel industry, kinda the precursor to the internet. I knew the main systems of the travel industry at the time, Apollo, System One & Sabre.
Later, I became a dance instructor, yoga instructor, deep tissue therapist, and BodyTalk practitioner. This meant my software needs could sometimes get complicated.
I sampled numerous health and wellness software systems, from Mind-body & Appointment-Plus to smaller platforms like Wellness Living. For years I dealt with the many glitches and workarounds...it became stressful. Things just never seemed to function as promised, and my knack for pointing out technical problems and issues within each platform was a gift and a curse.
Repeatedly I went through the process of building and rebuilding my small business website and customizing it to my needs. I used various website-building services…Go Daddy, Wix, Kartra, Squarespace & many, many more…constantly in search of a way to simplify and streamline my software with my wellness business.
During these decades, life wasn’t always sunshine and roses. Life threw many challenges my way. The hardships helped to shape my path. From serious injuries from my horse-riding days to losing loved ones at the most shocking in my life. Through it all, I’ve developed a system for handling anxiety and balancing work and life stress. I’ve written about many of these life traumas and lessons in my book, Anxiety Antidote - Your Guide for Life’s Challenges. The book is proving to be a valuable tool in helping business owners and others find the clarity they need to balance the daily pressures that affect their health and lives.
Now the focus of my job is to help reduce the anxiety of women in the wellness industry when launching and branding their online businesses.
Additionally, I am a holistic health expert, Certified BodyTalk™ Practitioner, public speaker, and professional life coach. As a former deep tissue therapist and wellness center owner, my expertise covers many facets of emotional, spiritual, and physical health. As a child, I suffered poor health. A tragic loss in young adulthood led me on a holistic journey that turned my health around. I left a corporate career to pursue a path in the performing arts by studying theatre arts. I then shifted from the performing arts into the healing arts.
My BodyTalk studies include Epigenetics, BodyEcology, Eastern Medicine, Energetics, Principles of Consciousness, Bio-Dynamics, Lymphatic Drainage, Macrocosmic BodyMind, and more.
I now live nestled in nature with my husband and dogs in the Manzanita Mountains of central New Mexico, near Albuquerque.
